Abhorsen

I recently finished reading 3 great books by Garth Nix, the Old Kingdom series or the Abhorsen series. It took me 6 days to finish all 3 books, but if we want to be specific it would be around 18 hours if I did it nonstop.

I just love them so much, who would think bells can be so powerful and scary? Who wouldn’t like a talking sarcastic cat-slave around? A talking powerful dog that is named The Disreputable Dog as your loyal friend? A berserker King? A flying device that’s made out of paper and have their own personalities? A whole kingdom that uses magic but just outside its walls people cannot?

I recommend people to read it if you haven’t, ’twill take you somewhere scary, fun, magical and mundane the perfect place to be. I can’t wait for the next book which will be released by 2010 if all goes well and the next by 2011! sweetpies!.

I <3 fantasy books but it’s funny because we have books of Harry Potter lying around my house and i never read a single one o_o;; must be because I already saw the movies…maybe if i get bored enough I would pick one up and read :3
